Increasing the Safety of America's Citizens through partnerships, information and innovation.

Welcome to the Nevada High Intensity Drug Traffic Area (HIDTA) website. Here you will find important information about Nevada's HIDTA program including our Nevada Law Enforcement Training Program available to all of Nevada's law enforcement, links to other agencies, and general information about the program.

Nevada HIDTA supports information sharing, prevention, training, collaboration, and coordinated law enforcement and public health strategies to reduce crime and dependence on illicit drugs. The endurance and agility of HIDTA is due to the program's Executive Board management, neutrality, flexibility, and diversity in collaboration with many community partners.

The Nevada Watch Center operation deconfliction and investigative information system is available 24/7 in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Information Network (RMIN), the Western Regional Information System (WSIN) and the Regional Information Sharing System (RISS) a nationwide intelligence system. This system is for law enforcement only. The statewide phone numbers is 1-888-294-2337. I strongly urge all law enforcement to use this system to ensure officer safety during plain clothes, covert operations and for case enhancing intelligence. Today's modern deconfliction systems have saved many lives across our nation.

Use it, Write It, Tell It: The Force Encounter Story 2020
Las Vegas, Nevada - LVMPD

NO COST TRAINING FROM NEVADA HIDTA.

This is dynamic and reality-Based training for 2020, presented by one of our most popular instructors;  David Demurjian. In light of the violence that police officers encounter on a daily basis, it's important to know how to handle the encounter, both on the street and in the courtroom. If you were fortunate enough to have attended his other course: THE LEGAL IMPLICATIONS OF FORCE APPLICATIONS BY LAW ENFORCEMENT   (formerly titled Liability Update on  Use of Force) then you already know what a dynamic speaker he is, and more importantly the valuable, critical the information he provides is to law enforcement. This second class focuses on writing and testifying about the use of force.  Learn how to write about it, how to speak about it, how to dress for your court date. You do NOT need to have attended a prior course. There  is no prerequisite. Don't miss this opportunity!
